What is a day at daycare like for your dog?

After all paperwork and interview have been successfully completed, your dog will be able to enjoy a day full of activities, lots of playtime, and enjoy neighborhood walks.

 

What to bring with your dog?

We recommend you bring your dog’s leash and collar and any essential items such as medications and food that are needed for health purposes.

 

What are the requirements for your dog to attend daycare?

• Dogs over 6 months old must be spayed or neutered in order to attend daycare.

• Paperwork will need to be provided by the owner before an interview can be completed.

• Dogs must pass the interview to reassure your dog is suitable for daycare.

• All dogs will need to provide veterinary documentation of updated shots in order to attend daycare.

 

Required Shots:

• Bordetella

• Parvovirus and Distemper

• Rabies

 

Is boarding available at daycare?

Boarding is not available on site. If needed, discuss different options with Jordan.

 

What are the hours for daycare?

Monday – Friday: 7am – 7pm

 

What is expected for new dogs?

For new dogs attending daycare, expect your dog to be tired after a day at daycare.

 

Can my dog be fed during daycare hours?

There will not be feedings during daycare hours, with the exception of medical conditions. If feedings are necessary, please speak with an employee.

 

Have problems getting your dog to daycare?

No problem! We can provide transportation for you. Please provide a request prior to daycare.

 

Are reservations required?

Reservations are not required but they are highly recommended being daycare can fill up quickly. Make reservations by calling (412) 365-2009

 

Does Modern Dog administer medications?

Yes, we do administer medications.
